MSP360 CLOUD BACKUP HANDOUT

1: Introduction:
MSP360 Backup Cloud is a simple and reliable solution for keeping your business data safe. It allows you to back up files, folders, or even your entire system directly to the cloud, so your data is always protected against loss, hardware failure, or accidental deletion. With an easy-to-use dashboard, you can create backup plans, monitor progress, and restore your information whenever you need it. MSP360 makes data protection secure, flexible, and hassle-free for businesses of all sizes.

2: Dashboard Overview:

  • Backup Plans (Main Screen):
This is where you can see all your backup jobs. Since it’s empty now, it says “There are no backup plans.” You can create a new one here.
  • Create a New Backup Plan:
    You have two options:
  • Files → Back up only selected files and folders.
  • Image-Based → Back up your entire system (a complete copy of your computer or server).

    A) Top Menu Options:

  • Files / Image-Based (Backup): Start creating a backup.
  • Restore: Bring back your files or system from a previous backup.
  • Create Bootable USB: Make a recovery USB in case your computer won’t start.
  • Refresh: Update the screen to show the latest status.

    B) Tabs:

  • Backup Plans: Shows the list of your backups.
  • Restore Plans: Shows any restore jobs you created.
  • Backup Storage: Shows where your backups are saved.
  • History: Shows a record of past backups and restores.

3: Create New Backup Plan:

A: Files (indicated by a yellow folder icon):

  • This option is used to back up individual files and folders.
  • Suitable for users who only need to save specific data instead of the entire system.

B: Image-Based (indicated by a purple icon resembling the Windows logo):

  • This option creates a full system image, backing up the entire operating system, applications, settings, and data.
  • Ideal for disaster recovery or restoring a system to a previous state.
  • The user can choose one of these two options to start creating a new backup plan depending on their backup needs.
